How To Find Us
The Lions Den Hotel is situated on the Bloomfield Track, 4km from the sealed Mulligan Highway to Cooktown or 65km north of Cape Tribulation via the 4WD Bloomfield Track.
From Cairns via Inland Hwy
Travelling by 2WD on the inland Mulligan Highway, look out for the turn off on your right 25km south of Cooktown to the Historic Lions Den Hotel. Once you have turned off the bitumen highway, the hotel is easily accessed via 4km of well maintained dirt road, suitable for 2WDs, caravans, campervans and trailers.
From Cairns via Coastal Road Bloomfield Track
Alternatively for 4WDs travelling north on the Bloomfield Track we are situated 65km north of Cape Tribulation and 7kms past the small township of Rossville.
From Cooktown
We are situated 28km south of Cooktown. Travelling south from Cooktown turn left onto Shiptons Flat Rd/Bloomfield Track and follow the sign for 4km via the well maintained 2WD dirt road to the Lions Den.
